Little Things to Love

I don’t know about you, but I am so happy that this off season of the Bachelor/Bachelorette is almost over! Mondays aren’t the same without that relationship drama and the glass, eh, sometimes bottle, of wine that accompany it. You can bet your bottom dollar that come May 20, that show is going to find its way onto my list of ‘little things to love’. Until then, I am loving…..

My dogs. I mentioned in my last post that Dan and I were dog sitting over the weekend. Despite the fact that these boys and girl were the reason for my intermittent sleep, I loved sharing the bed with them.

ImageSaturday Brunch. Paninis and Peach Bellinis definitely fit into my ‘favorite meals’ category. Bonus points for the chocolate dipped peanut butter cookie we shared for dessert.

ImageRegistering For Our Wedding. After fueling up with Saturday Brunch, Dan and I went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to register for our wedding. Registering was definitely one of our favorite wedding related activities. Of course, a fire pit and fondue maker both made their way onto our wish list.

ImageTennis Time. I absolutely love playing tennis. Aside from the fact that I become entirely too competitive, it is one of my favorite sports. And tennis outfits are cute. So, that’s a win win.

ImageSunday Funday. We went to a great outdoor bar yesterday for a late lunch and drinks. The weather was amazing. And there was a couple dressed as Batman and Wonder Woman. They took Sunday Funday to a whole new level.

ImageReader Question: What are you loving this week?

  1. I think I would go a little crazy registering for a wedding. I’m pretty sure that I’d suddenly realize that I needed -everything- and put a whole slew of ridiculous things on my list. Hopefully I’d be marrying a man who had a little more self-control 😆

On my love list this week: coffee, cookies with ice cream, and blankets… this weekend has been nasty in terms of weather, so I’ve been snuggling up on the couch at home and refusing to go out.

  2. OMG reading this post just reminded me of why we should be real life BFFs. I can not wait for Bachelor/wine nights, and pretty much my three favorite things in the world are dogs, brunch and weddings hahaha

  3. I’m not married or engaged but I can just imagine how fun it must be registering! I know I could spend hours looking at all the cool kitchen things in bed bath and beyond, target and Macy’s. it looks like Nola had a fun weekend with friends!

  4. I cannot wait until the new Bachelor/Bachelorette season either! I hate the off season too 🙂 Monday nights just aren’t the same!!! Also, your Sunday Funday sounds like so much fun. I love days out like that with my friends 🙂

  5. omg those dogs are big being how they ALL slept with y’all! haahaha so crazy!! I wouldn’t have gotten a wink of sleep!! and did you use the scanners as guns? hahahhaa I always wanted to do that. I would scan like crazy! hope you have a great upcoming week! 🙂

  6. I totally just put the Bachelorette on my calendar. . . that makes me cool right??!! I don’t want to miss it!! Although I am not really sure what I think of Desi as The Bachelorette. . . but the drama is always fun!!

  7. That panini looks fantastic! And I would totally register at Bed Bath and Beyond for my future wedding, whenever that is. Anytime I wander through there, I think of all the things I want!

  8. That panini looks crazy-good! Makin’ me hungry, haha!

I haven’t played tennis since I was in college. I really should again sometime! It was fun. 🙂

  9. I love the photo of all of the dogs on your bed 🙂 We have a very similar bed set! I’ve never been a huge Bachelor/ette fan but I might have to get back into it this season. I need a good drama-filled show to keep me entertained!

  10. OMG, those dogs! So! Effing! Cute! (I’m, um, a little bit dog crazy right now. Every time I see one, my heart melts into a puddle of goo.)

I can totally relate on the wedding registry front — I had more fun with that than I can even put into words. And, um, *obviously* you need the fondue pot and fire pit! 😉 Just think of all the fun you and your friends will have once you’re fondue-ing ’round a lovely fire this autumn. (See? You totally need both. Entertainment win!)

  11. Aww, dog sitting is so much fun! Looks like those puppies had a blast…sharing the bed with them is just a small sacrifice haha. And Sunday Funday is the BEST. This time of year there’s nothing better than relaxing outdoors with friends! Hopefully with a drink in hand too 🙂

  12. I just found your blog and I love it!

I also love playing tennis! It is so fun and the cute clothes are a major plus! 🙂

Your Saturday morning brunch looked amazing! 🙂

  13. YAY for The Bachelorette coming back. I’m not sure how I feel about Desiree, but it’s definitely one of my favorite not-so-guilty pleasures!
