I am crazy about country music. During our family road trips growing up, my parents played the cassette tapes of Garth Brooks, George Strait, Reba McEntire, and Trisha Yearwood. Of course, if a song was really good, we would have to hit the rewind button and hope and pray to press play at the right moment.
Today I firmly believe that I could be best friends with Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler, and Miranda Lambert. I legitimately stand and cheer as I watch the CMAs and witness Blake and Miranda take home their awards. Am I embarrassed to admit that? Not in the least. Although, I probably should be.
With that said, you can imagine my excitement when the Houston Rodeo takes place each year. The full lineup of performers was just released, http://rodeohouston.com/Concerts.aspx, and I am officially ready for these festivities to kickoff.
Last year, we ventured out to see Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, and Train. I am hoping to hit up at least as many concerts this spring

I am a huge country music fan too! My sister and I go to Country Fest in WI every year. It is always a blast. We figure out who is going to be there and make sure we download their most recent stuff so we can sing along at the top of our lungs. So. Much. Fun!
I love going to different fairs! Growing up, we always went to the Iowa State Fair in the summer. They are so much fun!

Love love LOVE Miranda Lambert. Unconditionally. I listen to lots of country music in my car (old fashioned style with CD’s or pandora) so I think I would buy some “pump up” hits to add to my iPod for workouts! 🙂
She is so great! You can just tell she is genuine and really doing her own thing. I always have such a better workout when I listen to good music-good choice! 🙂
Country music always reminds me of my childhood. My friend Krysta and I would VHS record CMT and watch the videos all day. We did a spot on duet of reba and Linda Davis’s ‘does he love you’. I would prob purchase Jason Aldean’s new album, as his last two have been pretty great 🙂

If I won, I would probably buy a random collection of songs that I haven’t purchased yet. I rarely buy an entire album, I just buy my favorite songs. I would probably buy some music from Hunter Hayes – I’m loving him right now!
