While perusing, which is a fun word to say, my blog posts today, I realized that it has been exactly 2 months since I announced my decision to quit my job and go back to school to become a Personal Trainer! My bank account has seen better days, I have to do laundry a lot, dressing up equates to wearing jeans and a t-shirt, I have a full on tennis shoe obsession, and I love it.
Even though I still do not know what I will be doing once I have completed the program, I am so happy that I decided to follow and pursue my passion. I realize in the moments that I am leading my mom through a workout, or watching Dan do squat jumps til the cows come home, that I am doing what I love to do.
Reader Question – If you could choose any job, what would it be? I would love to own a bakery – fitness & sweets definitely go together in my world!
I would LVOE to own a cupcake shop, I was just telling my husband that yesterday!!
Yes, let’s go for it!! π
I would love to be a full time aerobics instructor and personal trainer. . but it’s a good thing, I actually really like my current job too! π And I teach aerobics in the evenings, which is a good mix for me right now!!
I would love to take one of your classes! I bet you are the most encouraging and motivating aerobics instructor! So awesome that you have two things that you love doing! And a family, too! π
I’ve missed your positive posts girly! So happy to hear you’re following your goals. It’s such a scary thing, but so worth it. I actually don’t think I have a dream career, but I’m in the process of figuring it out. The more active the job is, the better, that’s for sure.
Oh, and you made me think of this article my boss sent us the other day about words that mean something different than we think. Let’s just say number 3 really surprised me! (http://hellogiggles.com/10-words-that-youve-probably-been-misusing)
Oh my gosh, that article is awesome! Thank you for sharing it! Haha, I have a feeling that I misuse a lot of words and phrases π I feel the same way about having an active job!!
I love that you’re pursuing your passions π Especially since I’m pretty much in the same boat, and it’s lovely to have someone to relate to. And the bakery? I was literally -just- talking to a friend about that the other day. I’d love to go into health/nutritional counselling and have my own little healthy bakery. Ahhh dreams.
That is an amazing dream! Considering how delicious your treats are, I would definitely encourage you to keep that on your future radar. You will be incredible in the nutritional counseling field. There are so many girls who will relate to your story. I am looking forward to seeing where your journey takes you! π
I think your time of exploring couldn’t be better, sure it is scary but you are discovering what you really want.
I love that you love what you’re doing π makes me haaaappy to hear that!
Dayuuummm girl, look at those guns! Lookin’ good π I would also own a bakery along with a wine bar and yoga studio – random but I think it’d work!
I’m so, so happy for you! That has to be such an incredible feeling! If I had to choose one job, it would probably be writing for a fun women’s mag. Maybe Cosmo ;)?
Good for you, girlfriend! It must feel so liberating doing something that you love. Seriously, it takes guts to quit your job and follow your passion. As far as my dream job- still trying to figure that one out π
This post makes me so happy! π I love that you love what you’re doing!
I so love that you are following your dreams! π
Definitely believe that which you stated.
Your favorite justification seemed to be on the web the
easiest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I definitely get annoyed while people consider worries that
they plainly don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well
as defined out the whole thing without having side-effects
, people can take a signal. Will likely be back to get
more. Thanks
