Treat your Friends like Family and your Family like Friends

Life has been a little biz of late. Between a trip to the East Coast, and a visit from my favorite Chicago Suburbians, the blog has been like the vegetables on my plate, always waiting to be eaten, yet consistently ignored.

Today’s post is simple, as is life (I’m such a modern day Plato/Robert Frost) My time with family and friends in the past two weeks has reaffirmed my belief that “at the end of the day,” to quote the ‘Jersey Shore’ cast, the most important things in life have nothing to do with money (although I do like love to shop), or status, but instead, have to do with the relationships you have, and the people that make every bad day better.

So, here’s to keeping the main thing the main thing.
